It’s a Small World at Idaho RV Parks
Just recently a gal with a big smile on her face” popped in at our Idaho RV Park and Campground and I greeted her with my normal “Welcome to Wagonhammer Campground, How can I help you?”
This gal proceeds to tell me that she had just recently hiked the Grand Canyon with our daughter who had told her about Wagonhammer Idaho RV Park & Campground as a “must stop” if you are travelling Highway 93 in Idaho, known as the Salmon River Scenic Byway.
This Salmon River Scenic Byway in Idaho begins at the top of Lost Trail Pass (elevation 6,995) on the Montana border. This worth the drive Idaho Scenic Byway follows the Salmon River known as the “River of No Return”, famous for Steelhead fishing and world class river rafting. Many of our guests who camp with us at Wagonhammer RV & Campground take advantage of the GREAT Steelhead fishing, and anything from half day scenic river float to 1 day and multi-day white water rafting trips. History buffs will appreciate that Lewis and Clark traveled this way in 1805.
Bev Hagen, Hurricane, Utah ended up staying the night in her tent on the banks of the Salmon River on her return trip from a float trip in Montana. We had a fun time with Bev who entertained us on the patio with her beautful voice and guitar. Bev would love to relocate to our Salmon Valley as she loves the beautiful natural setting right on the Salmon River.
We are so happy that Bev will be a “Be Back” at our Idaho Wagonhammer Campground tucked between Salmon and North Fork, Idaho very soon !!!!
