Wagonhammer has become a Destination Parks for Family and Friends
Katie who came to visit Wagonhammer for a few days soon became part of our Wagonhammer Family. Katie is still with us a month later. One of her great moments of excitement was a visit from her very good friend Rhonda. They explored our area to the fullest. Katie has become so part of our gang and has been adopted by Jack and Lorie.
Koy and Luis were star morel mushroom locators in the area. We all enjoyed their Wagonhammer visit and created many fond memories. We said goodbye with a farewell and birthday party arranged by Uncle Bob and Aunt Judy, our Wagonhammer Hosts.
Good friends Geri and Bob Rasmussen visited our area for several days. Their longtime friends Fred & Lynne Sowerby are long term guests at Wagonhammer so together we shared our beautiful Salmon Valley. Abner and I then accompanied the Rasmussen’s for a stay over at Jackson Hole Wyoming. Geri arranged for an evening stay at Twin Mountain Bed & Breakfast which I would recommend to anyone travelling that way.
We enjoyed a visit with our special friends Dave & Liz Speaks who own a class act clothing store, the Jackson Hole Traders. Many of you will know Liz and Dave from #3 during our steelhead fishing season…
Our grandson Jordan, sweet girlfriend Sabrina and friends visited Papa and Grandma for a week of fishing and exploring one of his most favorite places on earth, “Wagonhammer RV Park & Campground in North Fork Idaho. A visit would not be complete without a gourmet meal at 100 Acre Wood Lodge also in North Fork Idaho.
You may remember Jordan with his dad Darrell as being Wagonhammer avid hunters. In fact Jordan bagged his first deer in our valley.
It was very exciting to hear the voice of a Canadian friend and cousin Maryanne and Ralph Steckley, making a reservation at Wagonhammer. We had several days of reminiscing the past and the present. Ralph was Abner’s schoolmate in grammar school and Maryann was in our wedding party 50 plus years ago. We so enjoyed our reunion. Thanks for making Wagonhammer a part of your journey
Wagonhammer is truly a place you too can rejuvenate memories and friendships.
