Located 19 miles north of Salmon, Idaho our North Fork, Idaho RV Park and Campgrounds is adjacent to Highway 93. Nearby are several hunting units for elk hunting, deer hunting, mountain lion hunting, and bear hunting. Wagonhammer Campground is near hunting Units 21, 21A, 28 and 30. Wagonhammer RV Park and Campground easily accommodates large group camping during deer and elk hunting season. Bring your hunting friends and discover why our many “Be Back” guests reserve for the next hunting season in advance. Owners Jeff and Kathy Gipe along with their camp hosts are on-site to provide a wonderful home away from home get-away for hunters and our Idaho RV Park and nearby amenities offer plenty of entertainment and local shopping fun for your non-hunting family and friends who travel with you.
Friday Night is a special get together for our Wagonhammer Guests including our hunters. At 6 pm at the Wagonhammer Lodge is a gathering of our fine folks for a potluck of appetizers. It has become a night of incredible sharing of food and recipes, lively chatter, swapping experiences and lots of laughter. October is a great month for hunting and every Monday in October guests gather in our Lodge for Monday Night Football and sharing a bowl of steaming hot chili! Our Idaho camping grounds encourage pet friendly camping sites where a long nature walking path encourages your dogs to run and play unleashed.
With the Salmon River running through our Idaho RV Park, fishing for trout and non-sport fish is available year-round. In the Spring and Fall, steelhead fishing is fantastic as the they make their run. Bring your RV or tent and start enjoying the great Idaho hunting and fishing at Wagonhammer RV Park and campgrounds.
