September has been a Happening Time at Wagonhammer with Happy Appy Good Byes – See You Next Year Many Bee Backs For Certain!!!! Our Most Treasured moments at Wagonhammer Campground are the Friendships that develop and become long lasting.
Hosts James & Tom sure surprised Ab with a handcrafted Happy Hour Gong with a melodious ring. The two of them created a masterpiece out in the workshop without Ab even knowing, so when presented it was a moment of great appreciation and surprise. When you hear the gong you know it is gathering time at the Wagonhammer Lodge.
Another happening in our area was the arrival of The Mustang Fire which sure altered the quality of our usual pristine mountain air of our Bitteroot Mountains.
Something good always comes from bad! We were able to give temporary homes to our local evacuees (friends and neighbors) at Wagonhammer RV Park in North Fork Idaho as we were a safe spot.
Thanks to an incredible fire crew from the country wide we have retained much of our natural beauty. Many of our cancellations will return next year to Wagonhammer for longer stays. It is marvelous how adversity reunites a community and strengthens relationships.
Abner and I are so privileged to be a part of a very loving, caring community in the North Fork, Salmon area.
We are anticipating Our Grand Finale for 2012 with the Month of October for our many “Be Back Fishermen & Hunters”
It is a favored time of the year at Idaho RV Parks. We enjoy the brilliant colors, crisp mornings and cool evenings around the many campfires as folks rekindle their friendships, swap fish stories and hunting experiences We still have a few vacancies so just give us a call at Wagonhammer (208) 865 2477.
The first weekend in November will be our Annual High Country Trail with new treasure to be found along our beautiful Salmon River Corridor.
