Birdwatchers love Idaho Birding Trails near Wagonhammer
ATTENTION BIRD ENTHUSIASTS – Campers enjoy bird watching at our Idaho RV Destinations Park. Every morning our RV park dawns with a melodious choir orchestrated by our many fine feathered species who claim Wagonhammer as their home. It’s a hoot to see our guests strolling the yard looking up rather than where they are walking. Now and then a tree interferes with their search. We have records of 50 plus distinct bird species sighted within our RV park by our Wagonhammer visitors. Our favorite is our resident majestic eagles which swoop along the Salmon River fishing for their dinner. Their nest is just across the river at the southerly end of the park which is a photographer’s dream. The publication “Birds of the Upper Salmon Basin” states – From the mouth of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River to the headwaters near Stanley Idaho, the basin supports a diversity of bird habitats on a grand scale. Wagonhammer RV Park & Campground is located right in the midst of this basin qualifying as an exceptional location for the world’s bird enthusiasts.
Birds of a Feather are also found at the Wagonhammer gift shop. The colorful birds become part of many a Christmas tree, collectible shelves, beauty assets and take home gifts for friends and neighbors.
The Fine Feathered Friends and their observers find their haven at Idaho RV Parks – Wagonhammer!
